Winter Concert Series
Most ASW Winter Series concerts will be performed at the auditorium of Rincon/University High School. This school is located at 422 N. Arcadia and can be reached by driving east on 6th Street from Swan road (you can see the schoolyard from the corner of Swan Road and 6th Sreet) or west on 6th Street from Wilmot Road. The auditorium is in the North East corner of the school grounds.
Concert Under the Stars
The Concert Under the Stars program is held at the outdoor amphitheatre in Udall Park. Seating consists of a grassy field – those in the audience that wish a chair should bring their own. Many concert goers enjoy bringing a picnic dinner to eat before and during the performance.
Morris K. Udall Park is located on Tanque Verde Road just east of Sabino Canyon Road. While the Udall performances start at 7:00pm, their popularity means that concert goers should plan to arrive early to ensure a good spot on the grass, as well as a good parking spot. Shuttles are available compliments of the Tucson Parks and Recreation Department from the shopping center on the Northwest corner of Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon Rds. The shuttles pick up passengers near the MacFrugals department store in the shopping center. Both the shuttle ride and the concert are free. There is limited handicapped parking available on a first come-first served basis.
